1 Ten years make up a decade,

One hundred twenty months have gone in parade,

Memories that last, linger and won't perpetually fade,

A union as strong as a vibranium chain that can never be frayed.

2 Cliche it would sound but relationships are never easily made,

Ergo it is not a silly game where anyone may trade,

Quagmires and difficulties will come but never be afraid,

For I will come hastily running to your aid.

3 We've learned that Marriage is a two way street without any barricade,

Involves love, trust and honesty without room for charade,

As long as our vows we remember, the love will never fade,

It's as clear as crytal, clear lines drawn sans grey shade.

4 As we embark on our next chapter we shall wade,

Life's challenges and obstacles let us together evade,

For in this journey with expected turbulence we have already prayed,

That as long as God is in the center we're as calm and serene as glade.

5 Decennial couples are rare, a consensual effort we made,

A blessing from the Heavens that's well-laid,

Unlike millenials who are merely concerned with masquerade,

Our mind, soul and spirit are entwined, no one can invade.

6 Nineteen years as friends and best buddies this we cannot trade,

We've shared laughter and shed tears that kept our bond up to the highest grade,

We stuck thru thick and thin, even in times we've been wounded by a sharp blade,

Yet we bounce and retaliate like a brave infantry would raid.

7 The dreams we've drafted, didn't all go smooth, some did fade,

Tho' we essentially didn't give up, held our ground, we never wade,

God is in control, everything is all well-laid,

We just need to keep our faith and wait for His Providential aid.

8 Memories, journeys, experiences that we've made,

Have kept us well bonded, all the intimacies we've shared,

Our yearnings and longings have our desires eventually bared,

The gentle human inside us is what kept the both of us mutually emotionally laid.

9 Here's to another 10 years or more to parade,

Our commitment and to support each other's trade,

To grow professionally as a person and never bade,

Our aspirations and desires to actualize and never fade.

10. While keeping our family's welfare and lifelong commitment that we've made,

On putting Arianna's welfare ahead and never in the shade,

These we humbly supplicate in God's providential aid,

To shower us His grace and blessings ergo to reach another DECADE.
