Twenty First To a Dozen

I Numbers mix and match just like a wardrobe, Years tell a story, — history and herstory; It has been a couple of decades plus one that we're In love, A dozen makes up our wedding Anniversary. II At the start of the new millenia, a new love story,.God had created, 2 wonderful souls would become 1 in His eyes; As the years went by their story was handcrafted, The Divine writer carefully penned an account that nobody could easily surmise. III A love that bloomed from friendship is quite strong, Even more a relationship that's deeply rooted from our passion in serving the Lord; Infatuation and lust fade overtime, it may not last long, But true love coupled with trust and respect is something that sprout from God's word. — IV We started in an org singing songs of praises, Our bond was out of the ordinary, something unusual; Usual couples meet, date, and get intimate in guises, While we sing, pray and have fun in ways that's frugal. V It took us a while to tie the knot, not 'coz we weren't ready, But 'coz we're preparing ourselves to be stable and steady; We wanted to see the world and learn on our separate ways, So we can find the meaning of life together as it lays — VI Early on we were tested, no couple is perfect we had our taste, Challenges, trials and deceits that almost put what we have to waste; Yet grasping tightly onto our deepest "why", Did we understand that our purpose musn't die! VII Soon enough after we finished tlam in-depth study of care, Our passion and focus evidently laid bare, Optimum health care is our prime concern as health advocates, Love, trust and respect is our philosophy as soulmates. VIII On the day of our wedding, the Heavens was crying, A gush of approval or a shower of blessings perhaps; Undeniably our union is something made in Heaven not mishaps, For the universe has intertwined not merely our hearts but our whole being. IX Soon after the wedding, marriage comes forth, Ceremonies and rituals are essential but vows deeply stands; Blessings after blessings pour henceforth, Indeed our Lord is faithful to His humble servants. X Not a long while, a progeny we were happily blessed with, A precious daughter to shower love, rear and nurture;

we are just grateful beyond words, our joy can't hide beneath -

the smile and laughter she brings, we look forward to the future. and laughter XI

Ten joyful years since our precious Arianna shed enormous happiness in this world, Our union for twelve years has been a testament of God's love and faithfulness; And we look forward to another DOZEN years that's twirled — With life-long learning, purpose-driven goals and extreme happiness. XII TWENTY ONE years may seem long, but in a relationship that grows and blooms it actually isn't, Sure there are challenges and difficulties but there are learnings and realizations at the end; Not too many couples stay, some call it quits when everything cease being pleasant, We just have to hold on to our vows with God 'coz He alone can turn a hefty TWENTY FIRST TO A DOZEN.
